Tractor-Trailer Crash Halts Traffic For Hours In PA On I-81 (Photos)

An oil spill caused by a tractor-trailer crash halted traffic on Interstate 81 for hours on Friday morning.

The tractor-trailer crashed in the northbound lanes of I-81, near  Exit 80/Route 743 for Grantville around 1 a.m. on Sept. 1, authorities say. 

The Pennsylvania State Police, fire police, and the Grantville Volunteer Fire Company were called to the scene. 

The highway reopened around 4:30 a.m., according to PennDOT.

It is unclear how many vehicles were involved or if any injuries were reported. Check back here for those and any other updates.
